Insurance Specialist Opportunity
Are you an experienced insurance professional with a passion for broking, underwriting and finding solutions for complex risks? Do you thrive on building strong market relationships and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and stakeholders?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded individual to join our successful and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with insurers, brokers and industry partners, helping members place difficult and specialist risks while contributing to the continued growth of our network.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of the team, you will play an important role in supporting our members by providing market expertise, placement solutions and access to insurer partners for complex and hard-to-place risks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the growth of member businesses through the successful placement of difficult and specialist insurance risks.
- Providing expert market insight and guidance on products, insurer appetite and placement strategies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with underwriters across partner insurers and group markets.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of insurer products and solutions available to members.
- Supporting strategic initiatives that increase the use of partner insurer markets and strengthen existing relationships.
- Managing workloads effectively through the use of internal systems, procedures and reporting processes.
- Contributing to team objectives, service levels and business targets.
- Participating in business projects and initiatives that support the wider network strategy.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Experience within the insurance sector, either in broking or underwriting.
- Strong technical insurance knowledge and understanding of broking processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Desirable
- Cert CII qualification (or working towards this).
- Experience using Acturis and maintaining accurate reporting records.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
