About the Role
As a Solutions Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting a global technology business. You’ll work with teams across Workforce Solutions and have the opportunity to contribute to real business activities, analyse performance and support initiatives that drive growth.
What You’ll Do
- Support the preparation of internal and external business reviews, reports and presentations.
- Track key business metrics including sales funnel, TCV, revenue and margin.
- Support sales and services forecasting and business planning activities.
- Track strategic growth initiatives across the Managed Services business.
- Analyse business data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Work with different teams and stakeholders across HP to gather information and support business priorities.
- Prepare clear, data-driven updates and presentations for stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc projects and analysis across the Workforce Solutions organisation.

What You’ll Learn
This placement will give you the opportunity to develop your analytical, commercial, communication and presentation skills, while gaining an understanding of how a global technology business operates. You’ll gain exposure to areas including business performance, forecasting, services, sales, data analysis and strategic planning.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Analytical, curious and keen to learn.
- Interested in technology, business, sales or services.
- Confident working with data and presenting information.
- A good communicator and team player.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Placement Details
- 13-month placement: 1 July 2027 - 31 July 2028
- Location: Reading, UK
- Working model: Hybrid, with regular travel to the HP Reading office.
- Requirements:
- Must currently be enrolled on a degree programme with a placement year.
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the placement.
