Plain Film Modality Manager

There is an opportunity for a 12 months secondment for a Plain Film Modality Manager.

The Radiology service is dedicated in facilitating continuous professional development and role extension/advanced practice. There are more than 30 Advanced Practitioners within the service, with specialist experience in fluoroscopy/interventional radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI and plain film radiographer reporting.

Responsibilities

Provide effective operational and professional leadership across the Plain Film Modality.

  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, rostering and staff development in the Plain Film Modality.
  • Monitor plain film x-ray activity, performance, quality and financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and professional requirements.
  • Support service transformation and service developments.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, operational and corporate colleagues.
  • Promote patient-centred care, staff engagement and continuous improvement.
