Job Description: Planned Maintenance Leader

Location: Leven, Scotland

Contract: Full-time, Permanent Contract

Shift Pattern: Weekends 7am-7pm Fri-Sun

End date to Apply: 22nd Sept

About the Role

  • Delivery of outstanding performance in all aspects of the balanced scorecard (Safety, Quality, Environment, Asset Care, Delivery, Productivity, Cost and Morale).
  • Lead on Asset Care planning & prioritisation across multiple packaging lines, including maintenance task optimisation using tools such as RCM.
  • Take accountability for asset care standards within the area and ensure delivery of effective Asset Care processes and procedures.
  • Coach and support Craft and Operational teams to deliver performance and increase reliability of equipment.
  • Ensure good governance around internal and external compliance (health & safety, quality and environment).
  • Manage safe execution of maintenance activity by internal teams and external contractors through issuing permits and controlling high risk works.
  • Continuous Improvement – support situational problem solving activity and efficiency.
  • Work with Craft teams and OEMs to drive faster problem solving and greater Plant Availability.

  • Maintenance leader/manager experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage people performance, coaching and development of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Proactive structured problem evaluation & solving skills learnt through exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or Manufacturing excellence.
  • A time served trade in electrical, mechanical or instrument control.
