The Planner is responsible for the development, maintenance, monitoring and reporting of project schedules associated with the design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the Foul Treatment Plant (FTP) and Potable Water Plant (PWP) at Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station.
Working as part of the Project Controls team, the Planner will support project delivery teams by providing accurate programme information, schedule analysis, progress measurement and forecasting. The role is critical in ensuring that project activities are properly planned, interfaces are effectively managed and project milestones are achieved.
The role briefly encompasses the following duties but is not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitoring progress, milestones and critical path activities across all project phases.
- Supporting design, procurement, construction and commissioning planning activities.
- Producing programme updates, dashboards and performance reports.
- Conducting schedule analysis and forecasting project outcomes.
- Identifying programme risks, delays and opportunities for recovery.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure schedules reflect project requirements.
- Supporting project controls, governance and reporting processes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' planning experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or industrial projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience using Primavera P6 and producing project schedules and programme reports.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline.
Analysis:
- Experience in progress monitoring, forecasting and critical path analysis.
IT Skills:
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting capability.
