Planner Opportunity with a High-Quality Housebuilder in Northamptonshire
Blue Diamond Recruitment are working with a privately owned, high-quality housebuilder who are looking to appoint a Planner to join their growing team in Northamptonshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner with around 2–3 years’ experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop their knowledge and skills within a supportive and experienced team. Ideally, you will have gained experience within a planning consultancy, local authority or house building environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across the full planning process, taking sites from cradle to grave and gaining exposure to all stages of development.
- A focus on immediate planning work, alongside some strategic planning.
- Taking sites through the full planning process, from initial stages through to delivery.
- Working closely with the Director, with the opportunity to learn, develop and build your planning knowledge and skills.
- Exposure to a varied portfolio of sites across Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

About the Business
The business currently delivers around 300 homes per year and has established itself as a high-quality housebuilder with a strong reputation.
This business are keen to find the right person for the team. You will be joining a genuine team environment so personality, attitude and the desire to learn and contribute will be just as important as your technical experience.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Around 2–3 years’ planning experience
- Experience gained within a consultancy, local authority or house builder
- A genuine interest in residential development and planning
- Good communication and relationship building skills
- The ambition to develop your career and take on increasing responsibility

Compensation and Benefits
Offering c£50,000 basic salary, car allowance, bonus and more. This is a great opportunity for a Planner who wants to join a privately owned, high-quality housebuilder, work closely with an experienced Planning Director and have genuine scope to develop and progress.
