We are pleased to share several opportunities for people to join us as a Planner

These are permanent jobs, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. These roles are based at our Bury St. Edmunds Office.

Role Overview

A sometimes challenging but rewarding role, ensuring the business meets the requirements of the new and soon to be updated Awaabs Law. Ensuring compliance across numerous aspects of the delivery of a case is key. Ability to work under pressure, on own initiative, as well as working with other team members to ensure the resident receives a friendly professional service throughout the life of their works.

As a Planner, you will facilitate a prompt and efficient repairs service to our tenants, whilst understanding, embracing and applying Flagship’s values, including relentlessly improving performance, so that we can improve the quality and speed of how we maintain and improve our homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that when tenants raise a repair, it’s assigned promptly and effectively to allow Flagship’s Operatives to complete the job in a timely manner.
  • Undertake the work required to schedule more complex repairs, where multiple trades are required, which includes liaising with members of staff across the Group and supporting commercial and void planners where required.
  • Whilst undertaking any written work, call handling, clerical and administrative tasks related to the role and working to the priorities, deadlines and goals required to ensure high performance of our repairs service. This includes recording information accurately across Flagship’s operational systems, to support data quality.

Requirements

Applications are welcomed for the role of Planner from those who are highly organised, self-motivated and take a diligent approach to accuracy of work.

You will need to be able to be accountable and have the confidence to question, challenge and be forward thinking. Whilst being a good listener and team player, with excellent customer service skills and experience of dealing with customers/ the public over the phone.

  • Competent with computers and a standard range of software.
  • Good standard of English and Maths.
