About The Role
Are you an experienced Planner looking for your next opportunity where you can make a real impact across a diverse portfolio of major civil engineering projects?
At Balfour Beatty, we're looking for a Planner to join our Regional Civils team covering the South East Region, supporting an exciting portfolio of projects across the region.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where you'll play a key role in planning and delivering complex civil engineering projects, working alongside experienced project teams and helping to drive successful project outcomes from the outset.
As a Planner, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing project programmes, providing clear and accurate planning information to support the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
As a Planner You Will Be
- Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes from tender through to completion.
- Working closely with project teams to establish realistic and achievable programmes.
- Monitoring progress against programme and identifying potential delays, risks and opportunities.
- Providing regular programme updates and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Supporting the development of recovery and mitigation plans where required.
- Working collaboratively with commercial, engineering and operational teams.
- Contributing to project reviews and providing planning expertise to support key decisions.
Who we're looking for
You Will Have The Following
- BSc/HND in Civil Engineering/Construction
- Proven experience in a Planning role within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning and project programming.
- Experience using P6 Primavera or similar planning software.
- Good understanding of project controls, progress monitoring and reporting.
- The ability to analyse programme data, identify risks and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
