Planner

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working a Monday to Friday day shift pattern, the Engineering Planner will be responsible for planning and coordinating all maintenance activities across the Kings Dyke plant, utilising both internal and external labour resources.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately producing detailed maintenance job plans, scheduling both preventative and corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring all necessary resources, materials, tools, RAMS and permits are in place, prior to work commencing. This role is critical in supporting the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities while aligning with the company's operational and performance objectives.

Your duties would include but not limited to the following:

  • Compliance with all Health Safety and Environmental Regulations
  • Manage and facilitate Kings Dyke's Engineering Planning requirements as a primary role.
  • To implement and manage a Maintenance Planning system within Kings Dyke.
  • To evaluate and implement a MWO system, to control, run and produce downtime, criticality, reliability and productivity data for presentation.
  • Utilise the site OEE system (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to facilitate the above.
  • To Liaise with contractors, manage and set up SLA contracts
  • To liaise with production and maintenance teams in all aspects of planning PPM, MWO and compliance requirements.
  • To Plan and schedule within Site budgets and have shared responsibility and control S&R budgets.
  • Ensure that PPE issued, is kept and maintained in good condition
  • Other duties as delegated by management

About You:

  • Proven Maintenance Planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical engineering principles, with an Electrical bias preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS development and implementation preferred.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, Fixed Wire Testing, and other statutory Compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage priorities, resources, and maintenance schedules effectively.
  • Commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
