We're recruiting a Planner to join the team on a major M&E project in Ayrshire.

This is for a company who have a great reputation and work on some of the largest projects throughout the UK.

We're open to speaking with candidates at a range of experience levels, from experienced Planners looking for a new challenge to those ready to take the next step in their career. Salary will be dependent on experience, with opportunities for development and progression within a well-established contractor.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a large, technically challenging project, working closely with project, commercial and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The Role Of The Planner

As a Planner, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes, ensuring milestones are met and potential risks are identified and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes.
  • Monitoring progress and reporting against programme milestones.
  • Identifying programme risks, delays and opportunities.
  • Working closely with project managers, commercial teams and site teams.
  • Producing regular programme updates for internal and client meetings.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of a large and complex M&E project.

We're Keen To Hear From Planners Who Have

  • Previous experience in a planning role within construction, engineering or M&E.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Good working knowledge of ASTA Powerproject and/or Primavera P6.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
