Short Term Planner

Location: Brize Norton-onsite
Contract: 12 months
Hours: 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off, days only
Rate: Up to £26.92 per hour PAYE / £36 per hour Umbrella
Security Clearance: SC Clearance required

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Planner to support aircraft maintenance planning operations at Brize Norton.

As a Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating short-term maintenance activities, ensuring maintenance requirements are effectively planned and aligned with operational flying programmes.

You will work closely with Planning, Technical Services, Configuration Engineering, Material Support and maintenance teams to support the continued airworthiness and operational availability of the A400M fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with the IOC Planning Focal Point regarding day-to-day priorities.
  • Developing and maintaining a 3-month short-term maintenance plan.
  • Identifying aircraft maintenance task requirements.
  • Ensuring maintenance planning is incorporated into the Flying Programme (Fly Pro) and Integrated Through-Life Plan (ITLP).
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable Regulatory Articles and relevant procedures.
  • Working closely with Technical Services Engineers and Configuration Engineers.
  • Coordinating with Material Support and maintenance organisations to effectively plan maintenance and modification requirements.
  • Attending daily operational calls and providing relevant planning information.
  • Entering and maintaining A400M maintenance planning data within the Maintenance Data System (MDS).
  • Supporting projects and assignments as required by Technical Support Operations.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the airline/aviation industry.
  • CAMO experience.
  • Previous experience within aircraft maintenance planning or a closely related environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within a safety-critical and regulated aviation environment.

Security & Eligibility: Please note that this Planner position requires SC Clearance.

The successful candidate must also be comfortable working a 4-on, 4-off day shift pattern, averaging 42 hours per week.
