The role

As a result of recent new business wins and our continued growth, we're hiring Planning Account Directors to join one of our planning teams.

The roles sit across three distinct client portfolios, spanning healthcare and consumer brands (food, drink and household brands), as well as retail and consumer brands (food, drink, wine, spirits and household brands). Together, they offer the opportunity to work with a diverse mix of established household names and newly won clients, each with their own unique commercial challenges and ambitious growth plans.

Whether you're helping shape the communications strategy for a newly won healthcare brand, developing integrated campaigns for some of the UK's best-known consumer brands, or leading planning for one of the UK's largest retailers, you'll play a key role in delivering audience-first media strategies that create meaningful business impact.

Across every role, you'll lead client relationships, develop strategic media recommendations and work closely with specialists across the agency to create integrated campaigns spanning AV, audio, OOH, digital, social and retail media. You'll bring together the right people, insights and thinking to deliver exceptional work, while helping clients navigate an increasingly complex media landscape.

The clients

Portfolio One – Healthcare & Consumer Brands (food, drink and household brands)

Combining a newly won healthcare client with a portfolio of established consumer brands, this role focuses on building integrated, audience-first media strategies that support long-term brand growth while delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

Portfolio Two – Retail & Consumer Brands (food, drink, wine, spirits and household brands)

Working across one of the UK's best-known retailers alongside a portfolio of premium consumer brands, this role offers a varied mix of integrated retail planning, annual brand strategy, commercial analysis and measurement.

Portfolio Three – Healthcare & Consumer Brands (food, drink and household brands)

This portfolio combines a major newly won healthcare client with a leading consumer food business, offering the opportunity to develop integrated, full-funnel media strategies across a portfolio of well-known household brands.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
