Planning and Delivery Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to lead our Planning and Delivery Team in Business Banking.

As a Planning & Delivery Team continues to grow and evolve how we support Business Banking, you will work collaboratively with our operational teams to drive performance, improve processes, and make sure we’re doing the right things for our colleagues and our customers.

The Planning and Delivery Manager will work closely with Leaders across Business Banking to deliver high‑quality planning, insight, and continuous improvement that supports brilliant outcomes.

This is a 12-month secondment opportunity.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Glasgow or Northampton office. If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

As a Planning and Delivery Manager, you will lead the training and enablement activities that support the delivery of key initiatives across Business Banking.

You will provide data‑driven insights to senior stakeholders to enhance performance, strengthen risk management, and improve both customer and colleague experience. This will involve designing and embedding improvements to processes and workflows to drive efficiency and consistency.

You will support and enable teams to deliver safe, efficient and consistent customer outcomes, facilitating the collaboration with partners across the business to ensure alignment of plans, priorities and delivery timelines. You will create structure, governance and clarity around change activity and operational commitments, acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to leaders on projects and continuous improvement activities.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Understanding of Business Banking operations across Business Direct & Contact Centres
  • Experience of planning, reporting, performance management or delivery governance
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex information clearly and a solutions focused mindset.
  • Confidence working with data, insight and Microsoft Office tools to drive performance
  • Ability to balance customer needs with business goals while ensuring great outcomes
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate and drive positive change across teams
