Planning and Purchasing Controller

What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain procurement and material planning forecasts aligned to production, sales, and operational needs.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence, supporting financial and physical stock positions.
- Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders for accuracy, necessity, and appropriate authorisation.
- Control purchasing spend by tracking budgets and forecasts, analysing variances, and proposing cost:saving opportunities.
- Coordinate supplier evaluation and support pricing, payment terms, and performance analysis to improve value for money.
- Maintain accurate records in SAP and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on purchasing performance, inventory status, and supplier KPIs.

What You Will Bring
- Strong analytical and planning capability, with clear attention to detail and a compliance mindset.
- Financial awareness for cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis in a fast:moving operations setting.
- Confidence with advanced IT and reporting, including experience working with SAP preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate effectively across sales, production, purchasing, and finance.
- A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including machine capabilities and manpower considerations.
