Overview
We are hiring a Global Planning Business Director to join Digitas, where strategy, creativity, data and technology come together to help some of the world's leading brands stay ahead of what's next. In this highly visible leadership role, you'll shape the future of a strategically important global client partnership, influencing marketing transformation and driving meaningful business growth. Working at the intersection of media, innovation and client leadership, you'll help organisations navigate an evolving landscape while creating connected, future-ready marketing solutions.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Lead one of Digitas' most important client relationships, building trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders across multiple markets.
- Shape integrated marketing and media strategies that connect business objectives with measurable outcomes.
- Guide clients through change, identifying new opportunities across media, data, technology and emerging marketing solutions.
- Champion the adoption of AI-enabled planning, automation and innovation to improve effectiveness and unlock growth.
- Drive commercial success by supporting account development, profitability, forecasting and strategic expansion opportunities.
- Lead, coach and develop cross-functional teams, creating an environment where people can learn, contribute and thrive.
- Ensure the highest standards of planning quality, operational excellence and delivery across all client work.
Qualifications
Skills we're looking for:
- Strong experience in media planning, communications strategy, client leadership or related disciplines.
- A track record of leading complex client relationships and managing senior stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to translate business challenges into effective marketing solutions.
- Commercial awareness and experience supporting business growth, account performance and resource planning.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and influence decision-making.
- Experience leading and developing teams, fostering collaboration, inclusion and continuous learning.
- Curiosity about innovation, AI and emerging technologies, with an interest in applying them to enhance client outcomes and ways of working.
