Planning & Delivery Manager – Rail
Location: Plumstead, London
Rate: £463.40/day Umbrella
Duration: Contract
We are currently recruiting for 3 Planning & Delivery Managers to support an infrastructure maintenance delivery team within the rail sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule rail infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Create and manage safe work packs.
- Support possession planning and work allocation.
- Manage work orders and maintenance planning activities.
- Attend planning and maintenance delivery meetings.
- Work closely with planners and delivery managers to support the wider planning function.

Essential Requirements
- Previous rail planning experience.
- Network Rail Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP) competence.
- Valid PTS and Sentinel Card.
- Experience creating safe work packs.
- Experience with possession planning.
- Knowledge of railway safety standards.
- Understanding of railway systems including track, signalling, stations, power and fleet.
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and SharePoint.

Desirable
- Experience using PPS, Maximo, Ellipse, SAP or similar asset management systems.
- Experience working with Network Rail, London Underground or Elizabeth Line interfaces.
- Knowledge of Central Access Systems.
Location: This is a fully site-based role at Plumstead Depot, Monday–Friday. No hybrid working is available.
