Join Our Team

We’re looking for a motivated Planner to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in construction planning, working alongside an experienced Planning Consultant on major infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

Whether you have planning experience or come from an ops or commercial background, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

Working with Senior Planners and Project Teams, you will:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project programmes using Primavera P6 or (Asta) PowerProject.
  • Update progress against programme and produce regular reports.
  • Support planning for tenders and live projects.
  • Analyse critical paths, programme risks and opportunities.
  • Attend planning and progress meetings with project teams.
  • Help develop short-term and long-term construction programmes.
  • Monitor programme performance and identify potential delays.
  • Produce programme narratives, look-ahead plans and progress updates.
  • Collaborate with commercial on operational and commercial site teams.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A willingness to learn planning techniques and scheduling software.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office.
  • An interest in programme management and project controls.

  • Experience using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Experience within construction, highways, rail, utilities or infrastructure.
  • Understanding of NEC suite of contracts.
