Key Responsibilities
- Analyse customer drawings and specifications to develop accurate estimates
- Prepare quotations and lead times based on internal capabilities and materials
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Production teams to support customer proposals
- Interpret and understand technical drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Support continuous improvement and cost-efficiency in quoting and planning processes

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a technically capable team player who understands precision engineering and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential
- Strong knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes (manual & CNC)
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with PCs and business systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset and professional integrity

Desirable
- Proven experience in estimating and/or planning within a precision engineering environment
- Understanding of material and process cost drivers
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
- Exposure to fabrication, welding, or special processes such as plating or coating
