The national Planning and Environment team at this well-reputed law firm works across multiple offices in multiple English cities. There are a substantial number of Planning lawyers, Environmental lawyers, and consultants within this ever-growing team.

It's a really exciting team at this national law firm as they continue their upwards trajectory in terms of numbers, strengths, and profits. This opportunity is well-suited to the candidate who is ambitious, eager, and keen to take the next step in their career.

About The Opportunity

With the consistent growth and continuous new panel appointments this team is seeing, there are multiple headcounts to be added to this team. This is across various locations including London, Leeds, Birmingham, and Manchester.

This role will involve advising a range of clients including housebuilders, developers, and local authorities on the full remit of planning-related matters including Section 106 agreements, highways and statutory agreements. It will also involve carrying out due diligence for contentious planning matters and for corporate transactions as well as supporting the wider team by collaborating closely with more junior and more senior members.

About You

You will;

  • be a solicitor qualified in England and Wales
  • have significant experience working in a reputable Planning team
  • be able to work to tight deadlines and work efficiently
  • have strong academics and an excellent writing style
  • have fantastic communication and written skills
  • be confident when dealing with clients
