Summary

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Planning & Logistics Coordinator to join our Telford team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day order flow for spare parts, software maintenance contracts, and smaller machine-related orders, with the opportunity to grow into more complex machine order coordination over time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery using CRM and ERP systems.
  • Review purchase orders, enter orders accurately, and issue confirmations to customers.
  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery activity and track order progress.
  • Support planning and coordination of larger machine orders, including customer readiness and milestone tracking.
  • Work closely with Sales, Service, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and external customers.
  • Handle customer communication, escalate issues, and support compliance and process improvement activities.

  • Experience in order processing, customer service, project coordination, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Confident using CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with others.
  • Fluent English and the legal right to work in the UK.
