PLANNING MANAGER – MAJOR AIRPORT PROGRAMME
Redhill / Hybrid Working
Up to £90K + allowance + bonus
An opportunity for an experienced Planning Manager to take a lead role on a major airport infrastructure programme in the Southeast.
This is a senior planning position with genuine influence across programme strategy, delivery performance, and planning governance.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, commercial, engineering, project controls, and delivery teams to ensure planning provides the insight needed to drive successful project delivery.
The role will include:
- Leading and developing a team of planners
- Managing complex integrated programmes using Primavera P6
- Driving planning standards, governance, and best practice
- Leading critical path analysis, forecasting, and programme reporting
- Identifying programme risks, opportunities, and recovery strategies
- Working closely with cost, commercial, risk, and project controls teams
- Providing clear programme insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement across the wider planning function

We're looking for:
- Strong Planning Manager experience, or an experienced Senior Planner ready to step up
- Major infrastructure, construction, or capital project experience
- Strong Primavera P6 knowledge
- Experience leading, managing, or mentoring planners
- Strong understanding of project controls and programme management
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Experience within airport or aviation programmes would be advantageous but is not essential
