We Are Looking For Planning Managers
We are looking for Planning Managers to join our business. You will play a key role in leading the delivery of major schemes. From beginning to end, you'll drive successful outcomes for our customers, communities and people.
Given the scale and diversity of our project portfolio, we're looking for leaders who are flexible and open to working across different locations throughout the UK, bringing their expertise where it can make the greatest impact.
We are currently looking for Planning Managers who will lead the planning function and team on a major project. To construct and manage the production and implementation of the fully integrated complex master programme, phase sequence plans and method statements from bid stage through pre-construction, construction to final commissioning, handover and occupation together with the monitoring and reporting against such control documents, all in line with bid and project requirements including MEP service installations and commissioning.

As The Planning Manager, You Will
- Manage the overall planning function and process, maintaining a proactive and professional service to the planning, bid and project teams working to the guidelines of the planning and programming strategic plan.
- Construct complex programmes from 1st principles using drawings, models or processes. Produces supporting methodologies. Identifies and tests different methodologies / ways of delivering the work.
- Establishes the short-term planning approach for the project, defining roles and responsibilities.
- Verifies that constraints have been included within the programme and develops strategies for working with them.
- Defines project level coding for groups of projects.
- Works with project team to define CCS for a project.

We Are Looking For
- Demonstratable experience of delivering the planning function on major construction projects - specifically large commercial office, healthcare, defence, other public buildings, data centres, or other complex buildings - working through bid, PCSA and delivery stages.
- Demonstrable experience of different forms of contract including NEC, JCT, MPTC etc
- Excellent working knowledge of Planning Software (Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera p6)
- HNC/Degree qualification (or equivalent) in a construction related subject or trade qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of overseeing and delivering multi-projects or a portfolio of projects
- Demonstrable experience of delivering major commercial office projects
