Warwickshire
Up to £70,000 plus car allowance and package
I'm working with one of the UK's leading strategic land promoters on a Planning Manager hire. They take greenfield sites through promotion and planning to deliver consented land for new homes, and the pipeline is strong enough that they need another pair of hands running sites.
The Role:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of strategic sites from first appraisal through to residential consent
- Prepare and manage outline and detailed planning applications
- Appoint and coordinate consultant teams and keep submissions on time and on budget
- Promote sites through the Local Plan process and track emerging policy
- Run appeals, hearings and inquiries alongside appointed advisors
- Lead consultation with councils, councillors and local communities
- Negotiate conditions and Section 106 to protect viability

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
