Planning Manager (Development Management) Role
The Planning Manager (Development Management) will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery and ongoing improvement of our development management service, together with planning enforcement, and you will personally handle more complex planning applications.
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient, proactive and customer-focused development management service
- Work with the Head of Planning and Transportation
- Effectively engage within the Council, with its residents, applicants, and elected members
Requirements
- Member of the RTPI
- Excellent knowledge and experience of planning and development control
- Computer literate and understand development control IT systems
- Ability to manage people and budgets
- Strong negotiation skills
