Planning Manager – Global Fashion Company – London
We are currently recruiting for a leading fashion manufacturer, whose brands are recognised around the world. As a company they turnover £150+ million in the UK, have offices in a number of countries and employ around 2,000 people. This is working within a fast-paced, glamorous industry where they are looking for someone to support the continued growth of a globally recognised sportswear brand portfolio.
This is a commercially focused planning leadership role, responsible for driving sales forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment strategy and wholesale planning. The role sits at the centre of the business, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Production and Sourcing teams to influence key commercial decisions and deliver profitable growth.

Role:
You will be responsible for:
- Lead monthly sales, inventory and margin forecasting activities.
- Develop assortment plans and wholesale targets to achieve commercial objectives.
- Analyse sales performance and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Own and lead the monthly S&OP process.
- Develop inventory strategies to maximise service levels and profitability.
- Partner with Sales teams to support customer growth and replenishment strategies.
- Drive improvements across planning processes, forecasting models and reporting.
- Lead and develop planning capabilities across the business.
Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
- 8+ years' experience in Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning or Supply Chain Planning.
- Strong retail, wholesale, apparel, sportswear or consumer goods experience.
- Experience leading planning functions or managing planning teams.
- Advanced forecasting, analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance inventory investment, service and profitability.
- Experience leading S&OP and integrated business planning processes.
- Advanced Excel and planning systems experience (SAP/ERP preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
