Location: London / Hybrid Salary: up to £42,000 depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Manager to join an ambitious, integrated creative and media agency based in London.
The agency works with a diverse portfolio of well-known brands across a range of sectors, delivering integrated communications, media and creative solutions. The business has a collaborative culture and deliberately works across traditional agency disciplines, giving planners the opportunity to have a genuine influence on both strategy and execution.
The Role
As Planning Manager, you will play a key role in developing integrated media and communications strategies, managing client relationships and helping to bring campaigns to life.
You will work closely with senior planners, specialist media teams, creative teams, external partners and media owners to develop joined-up solutions that combine media, creative and broader marketing thinking.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across disciplines and wants to play an active role in the development and delivery of campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key day-to-day contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Develop and maintain relationships with agency partners, media owners and other external stakeholders.
- Support senior planning leads in developing integrated media and communications strategies.
- Research consumer behaviour, media consumption and market trends to develop actionable insights.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry developments and new creative work within relevant sectors.
- Work closely with specialist teams across digital, broadcast and other channels.
- Liaise with external partner agencies and creative teams to ensure effective campaign development and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to develop innovative media and creative solutions.
- Explore and utilise AI and emerging technology to improve research, planning, creative development and day-to-day efficiency.

Your profile:
- Good knowledge of the UK media landscape.
- Strong media planning experience established from an agency background.
- A good understanding of marketing theory and best practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The confidence to build relationships with clients, agencies and media owners.
- Open to using AI and technology to work more efficiently.
