If you're a Town Planner looking to step away from consultancy and play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality residential developments from land acquisition through to planning approval, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Our client is a growing residential developer with an impressive pipeline of projects and ambitious expansion plans. With significant land already secured and multiple planning applications in the pipeline, they're looking to appoint a Planning Manager / Senior Town Planner to join their collaborative and experienced team.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic chance to work client-side, where you'll have real ownership of projects and influence planning strategy from the earliest stages. You'll work closely with Land, Technical and external consultants to help deliver residential schemes.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing planning applications from submission through to determination.
- Coordinating planning consultants and technical specialists.
- Supporting planning strategy and advising on land acquisition opportunities.
- Building relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring all planning documentation and supporting reports are delivered on time.
- Working collaboratively with the Land team to drive projects forward.
About You
You'll ideally have 2–5 years' planning experience and be ready to take the next step in your career. You'll also have:
- Experience preparing and managing planning applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- MRTPI status (or be working towards chartership).
