Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your planning and coordination expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You'll ensure the effective planning and coordination of maintenance activities within SAP GSI to maximise fleet availability and performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (internal teams, contractors, and suppliers), maintain accurate, real-time data within SAP GSI, and proactively identify risks to drive continuous improvement in maintenance delivery and service quality, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Managing short-term and 5-day rolling maintenance plans, including scheduling overnight depot work
- Raising, prioritising, and managing service orders, notifications, and defect incidents from multiple sources, including the Defect App and email requests
- Maintaining accurate, real-time data within SAP GSI, ensuring all maintenance activity is correctly recorded and reflected
- Inputting and analysing data from a range of sources (e.g., contractors, suppliers, and monitoring systems) to support informed decision-making
- Coordinating contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is aligned to plan, delivered on time, and escalating where risks or delays arise
- Providing clear, consistent communication on daily priorities, critical defects, and operational risks to internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting in-service fault response in collaboration with Service Engineers, helping to contain and manage defects until repair
- Reviewing completed incidents for quality and completeness, and responding to customer queries in line with agreed processes
- Identifying risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, supporting service quality initiatives and continuous improvement

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
