About Finance Reinvention Partner

Accenture's Finance Reinvention Partner helps CFOs and finance leaders reinvent how finance creates and protects enterprise value - bringing together strategy, operating model, data, AI and technology to improve performance, insight, control and execution. In the UK and Ireland, the practice combines finance strategy and transformation capabilities with the enterprise platforms that enable them, including SAP, Oracle, Workday and enterprise performance management solutions.

Our Planning, Performance & Insights Team

Our Planning, Performance & Insights team helps clients transform how they plan, forecast, allocate resources, manage performance and make decisions. We connect strategic, financial and operational planning with data, analytics and modern planning technologies to create more integrated, agile and insight-led performance management capabilities. We support the full transformation journey - from planning strategy, process and operating model design through solution architecture, implementation, adoption and value realisation - embedding predictive analytics, machine learning and AI to improve forecast quality, scenario modelling and management insight. Our work is particularly relevant to capital-intensive Products and Resources organisations, where financial plans must connect effectively with demand, production, assets, projects, workforce and capital investment.

Why This Role

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who wants to build deep expertise in enterprise planning, modern performance-management technology and data-led decision support.

You will work with finance, operational and technology stakeholders to understand existing planning processes, turn requirements into practical model designs, and support configuration, data, testing, deployment and adoption.

The Expertise You'll Bring

  • Planning and finance foundations: Experience participating in or supporting a budgeting, forecasting or long-range planning process, with an understanding of how operational drivers affect the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. At least 4 years of relevant experience either in process and/or planning platform.
  • Requirements and process analysis: The ability to document planning calendars, activities, roles, controls, systems and data flows; gather requirements through interviews and workshops; and converts findings into clear process maps, user stories and functional documentation.
  • Planning model and platform delivery: Hands-on experience with, or strong exposure to, at least one modern planning platform - such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan, Pigment, CCH Tagetik, Oracle EPM or OneStream - and the ability to support model configuration across dimensions, hierarchies, assumptions, calculations, allocations, workflow, security and reporting.
  • Data and performance insight: Strong numerical and analytical skills, with experience preparing, reconciling and validating data; investigating actual-to-plan variances; and developing reports or dashboards that explain performance and support decisions.
  • Products and Resources or similar industry understanding: Experience or project exposure within Products and/or Resources organisations, ideally where planning is influenced by demand, production, assets, projects, workforce, supply chain or capital expenditure.
  • Predictive planning and machine-learning awareness: An understanding of how predictive forecasting, trend analysis, anomaly detection and machine learning can support planning, together with the curiosity to test outputs, question assumptions and explain how insights should be used.
  • Collaborative delivery skills: The ability to work effectively across finance, business, data and technology teams, produce clear client-ready outputs, manage your own commitments and communicate progress, risks and findings with confidence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
