✈️ We’re Hiring: Planning & Records Engineer
Are you an experienced aviation professional with a background in Part-145 aircraft maintenance planning?
Willis Aviation Services Limited (WASL) is looking for a Planning & Records Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the planning and coordination of aircraft maintenance activities within our UK CAA and EASA Part-145 approved environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong planning and organisational skills who enjoys working across multiple teams and liaising with customers, CAMOs, maintenance teams, and external stakeholders.
Summary
This is a role within the UK CAA and EASA Part 145 approved aircraft maintenance functional area performing production planning of aircraft maintenance, in cooperation with the C cert engineer control workflow within Tracking Plus.
Responsibilities
- Review customer work packages, working with C cert engineer plan the check. Based on engine runs, functionals input requirement etc. In addition, identify tooling requirements for the planned check.
- Create Gantt chart to provide customer with major milestones of the planned check.
- Liaise with CAMO and customer planning for any changes to planned input
- Raise CAMO requested Addendums within Tracking Plus and ensure additional work is performed
- Request 3rd party as required to support Part 145, e.g., NDT, Cleaning.
- Liaise with aircraft and engine manufacturers and the relevant CAMO to support Part 145 as required.
- Assist C cert engineer with relevant data for the Daily Status Report.
- Using Tracking Plus, identify problems with the current Workorder
- Review Tracking Plus (electronic records system), identify errors and/or omissions and liaise with maintenance personnel to have appropriate corrections made to ensure the system is reflective of maintenance activities performed
- Participate in internal and external stakeholder liaison meetings as required
- Perform any additional duties or tasks as directed by the Planning & Records Supervisor
- Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards and by adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles with their work

Requirements
- Planning experience is essential within a Part-145 and/or Part-M/CAMO environment
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable Part-145 and Part-M/CAMO requirements
- Knowledge of continuing airworthiness records systems (e.g., AMOS, OASES, Tracking Plus)
- Ability to interpret technical data
- Technical records experience desirable
- Technical knowledge representative of B737 and A320 family/types desirable.
- Knowledge of HF, EWIS, & FTS
- Key skills;
- Planning & organisational skills
- Attention to detail / analytical
- Communication (written and verbal)
- Interpersonal skills / Team player and stakeholder (internal & external) liaison
