Goodstuff Planning Senior Executive

Role Overview

The Goodstuff Planning Senior Executive role is to support their team in delivering excellence in media planning and client servicing. Working in close collaboration with their immediate team and Goodstuffers across the agency they are responsible for supporting throughout the planning process and contributing towards getting to great work and delighting our clients. They are expected to develop effective Goodstuffer and client relationships and contribute to the smooth and seamless running of client business, supporting their team by taking on some internal team admin tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support throughout the planning process, with a focus on the research stage
  • Produce insightful competitive reviews and target audience analysis
  • Seamlessly manage media plans with direct from line manager
  • Demonstrate an active interest in the media and communications industry
  • Engage and build rapport with relevant media owners
  • Support the planning team in the smooth day to day running of client business
  • Demonstrate good understanding of your clients’ challenges category and competitors
  • Lead responses to smaller client briefs, with senior support
  • Coordinate client status meetings and support team to maintain accurate and timely status reports
  • Build collaborative relationships with Goodstuffers
  • Effectively manage workload, expectations and meet deadlines
  • Develop ability to delegate and be delegated to with clear communication
  • Proactively support the team, developing an ability to adapt to changing daily demands
  • Maintain financial accuracy across all clients
  • Get bookings on the system promptly and accurately
  • Ensure efficient management of POs, timely invoicing and quick resolution of finance queries
  • Accurate and consistent weekly completion of timesheets

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a client-facing role, managing day to day communication with clients
  • Good knowledge of the fundamentals of media best practice with experience operating across all main media channels in a planning capacity
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with a detail-orientated approach
  • An eagerness to provide exceptional client servicing and comfortable managing various stakeholders across a range of brands
  • Truly collaborative and well adept at building excellent relationships with both your immediate and wider internal teams (including investment, insight and data)
  • An excellent communicator with sound presentation skills (both written and oral)
  • A strategic and creative mindset with the ability to address client objectives in a truly inventive way leading to the best possible outcome
  • A passion for all things media and communications
  • Naturally curious with the desire to continually learn and develop your planning and client servicing skills
  • A can-do attitude and positive approach, even in challenging situations
  • Creative, analytical and numerical ability
