The Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Solicitor to join a highly regarded Real Estate team. Advising a diverse client base including developers, investors, corporate occupiers, funds, and private clients, you will handle a broad range of complex planning matters across both commercial and residential developments.
- Your caseload will include planning appeals, Section 106 agreements, compulsory purchase, planning obligations, Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), environmental impact assessments, highways matters, planning policy, enforcement issues, judicial review, infrastructure agreements, and due diligence associated with major real estate and corporate transactions.
- You will work closely with colleagues across the wider Real Estate practice, providing commercially focused advice while playing an active role in business development and the continued growth of the team.

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years PQE and broad experience across planning law. You will possess strong technical expertise, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for advising on complex development projects. The successful candidate will be commercially aware, proactive, and confident managing client relationships while delivering pragmatic legal advice. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively are essential.
