Planning Support Administrator – Private Wealth
Location: Farnham
Working pattern: Hybrid – three days per week in the office
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
The Opportunity
We are working with a highly regarded and growing private wealth business that is looking to appoint a Planning Support Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, client-focused individual with experience in financial planning who wants to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
Working closely with financial advisers and paraplanners, you will help onboard new clients, support existing relationships and ensure an excellent level of service is delivered at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting financial advisers and paraplanners with day-to-day administration
- Coordinating the efficient onboarding of new clients
- Managing administrative requirements for existing clients
- Communicating professionally with clients by telephone and email
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate information on the company’s CRM system
- Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes
- Supporting wider business projects when required
- Ensuring the client remains at the heart of everything you do

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience within a financial planning or private wealth environment
- Knowledge of investment products, including ISAs, GIAs, pensions and bonds
- Experience using CRM or financial planning systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage their own workload
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent client service
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- CII or RO qualifications, or progress towards these, would be advantageous
