We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Plant Administrator to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing the administration, scheduling, and compliance of our plant machinery and fleet, while simultaneously supporting the finance team with core transactional accounting tasks.
You will support the Plant department and Finance team for Ground Engineering, predominantly based at our Kilsyth Office, however you may be required to visit other offices on occasion, and with the opportunity to work flexibly in line with our policy.

Making Possible
- Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards in accordance with Company policy. Be aware and contribute in “Your Safety is My Safety" vision.
- Assist Plant Data Engineer maintain accurate inventories of plant equipment, recording movements, faults, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist senior accounting staff with journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and data gathering for month-end close reporting.
- Input into SAP, MyTime, Rental Results or similar cost collation tools.
- Produce cost monitoring reports.
- Maintain document filing system.
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain personal diary.
- Utilise computer software packages for word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and presentations.
- Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time.
- Ensure compliance and adherence with project and company procedures to follow an agreed process for cost control.

What do you bring to the role?
- National 5 and/or Higher’s in English and Mathematics.
- Previous Industry experience would be an advantage.
- To be diligent and motivated.
- Demonstrate a desire to learn and progress.
- Show interest in increasing your knowledge of the construction industry.
- Good communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Delivering on the responsibilities as set out below.
