Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It With Pride.
Bournville, the home of Cadbury in the UK, is now recruiting Production Line Operators.
Would you like to join the team producing the nation's favourite chocolate, including iconic brands such as Dairy Milk, Creme Eggs, Buttons, Roses, Heroes, and Wispa?
As a key member of Manufacturing, you will utilize Lean Six Sigma autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new innovations across the site.
How you will contribute
As an operator at Bournville, you will perform a number of key roles and tasks to ensure that we continue to make products that we are proud to share with our families, in a modern, friendly and inclusive factory environment.
As well as operating the machinery that produces the nation's favourite brands, you will be responsible for ensuring we meet all of our food quality standards and you will commit to maintaining a safe working environment for you and your colleagues. On a daily basis, this means regular quality checks and having daily safety conversations with the other members of your team.
You will be required to work towards Bournville’s Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) practices initially to an AM3 standard, carrying out autonomous maintenance techniques such as Clean, Inspect and Lubricate (CIL) various items of machinery to schedule to ensure optimum performance. You will also demonstrate the necessary skills and behaviours to work towards and attain IL6S AM4 which will start to look at how, as operators, you can understand how different systems and components interact with one another and be able to identify and eliminate causes of downtime before they occur.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and One Point Lessons (OPLs) where you will pass on knowledge and key learnings to other members of your team to ensure best practice is applied consistently.
