Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation Biased)

£52000 plus Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and instrumentation skills? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing or process environment where no two days are the same?
We're looking for engineers who can play a key role in maintaining critical plant equipment, ensuring maximum reliability, safety and efficiency across a busy production site.
The Role
As part of the Engineering team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance while supporting the safe and efficient operation of key utilities and process equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Fault finding, testing, calibration, installation and commissioning of process instrumentation.
- Electrical installation, repairs and commissioning of plant and equipment.
- Supporting the operation of boilers, steam generation plant, CHP/gas turbine systems and water treatment facilities.
- Monitoring plant performance and making operational adjustments where required.
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repair solutions.
- Carrying out electrical isolations and working safely within Permit to Work procedures.
- Working closely with Production and Engineering teams to minimise downtime.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement activities across the site.

About You
You'll ideally have:
- A recognised Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Instrumentation apprenticeship.
- Experience within a manufacturing, heavy industrial, chemical, energy or process environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- The ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical isolation procedures and safe working practices.
