Job Title: Workshop Plant Fitter/Engineer

Salary: £38,000 to £42,000 per annum (subject to qualifications)
Working Hours & Benefits
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Overtime and occasional Saturday work will be required based on operational needs.

Job Overview
The Workshop Plant Fitter/Engineer will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a range of plant machinery. You will be expected to work independently on-site, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, meeting the required safety standards and operating efficiently. This is a full-time role, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery.
- Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring all machinery is compliant with relevant safety standards.
- Conduct inspections and keep accurate records of work carried out.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
- NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance will also be considered, but please note the salary will reflect this qualification level.
- Proven experience in plant machinery maintenance and repairs.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a plant fitter role is essential.
- Familiarity with a broad range of plant equipment, including excavators, loaders, and access equipment.
