Responsibilities
We currently have a requirement for a Plant Fitter to be based out of our Reading Depot and be responsible for:
- Repairing, servicing and maintaining all tools and powered access equipment including electrical and hydraulic repairs, along with petrol and diesel engines.
- Occasionally attending breakdowns off site if required.
- Working as part of a team in a workshop environment.
- PAT Testing is desirable.
- Completing any relevant repair and service paperwork. You will need to be computer literate for this.
- Participating in training programmes as required.
Skills
Previous experience in repairing plant hire equipment and powered access machinery is essential.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar industry, strong communication and organisational skills, and be able to manage their own time.
You will work well under pressure, have the ability to prioritise tasks, and solve problems. An NVQ or equivalent qualification in plant maintenance is desirable.

Hours
7am to 5pm Monday to Friday
