What you'll be doing:
- Lead a large team to deliver overall performance objectives including financial targets, production, plant availability, safety and compliance
- Manage the Facility in line with Veolia Minimum Requirements (VMR) toolkit standard, Environmental Permit requirements, ISO standards and ERF safety systems
- Direct and coordinate all aspects of Energy Recovery, Mechanical Treatment and Material Recovery Facilities operations
- Prepare annual budgets for Operations & Maintenance and manage P&L responsibility (Multi £M revenue)
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to deliver client contracts, drive high levels of contract performance and maintain strategic technical oversight
- Record and process accidents, incidents and audit/inspection non-conformities in line with internal and external reporting processes
What we're looking for:
- Previous management experience in Energy Recovery, Power Generation or process industry
- Degree in an Engineering discipline with previous technical experience from a continuous process background
- Strong leadership skills with ability to support and manage teams through guidance and mentoring
- Financial oversight and P&L management experience
- In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance requirements
- Negotiating and influencing skills with strong commercial acumen
