Our client is an established operator within complex industrial infrastructure environments, delivering critical services across a network of large-scale, highly regulated facilities. With a strong focus on safety, operational performance and long-term asset management, the organisation continues to invest in its sites, systems and people to support sustained improvement and future development.

The Role

The Plant Manager will take overall responsibility for the performance of a large-scale processing facility, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery across all site activities. The role holds accountability for health, safety and environmental standards, plant operations, maintenance, commercial performance and employee development within a safety-critical and regulated environment.

The position will involve:

  • Leading all functions operating across the facility
  • Managing the site P&L, annual budget, contracts and feedstock arrangements
  • Ensuring delivery against agreed operational and financial objectives

Working closely with the site leadership team and wider business, the Plant Manager will:

  • Translate the annual business plan into clear priorities
  • Strengthen accountability across the facility
  • Ensure resources are deployed effectively

The role will also maintain oversight of:

  • Plant reliability
  • Maintenance delivery
  • Waste reception and processing

While supporting the long-term integrity and performance of the asset.

Candidates

Candidates will bring:

  • Significant experience managing complex process or power-generation facilities
  • A strong understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
  • Proven leadership across multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts and commercial performance
