What's the role?
We have an opportunity for an experienced Plant Operator to join the Scotland Operations team, supporting the delivery of power infrastructure, cable installation and civil engineering projects across Scotland.
The role will involve safely operating a range of plant and equipment across live construction sites, often in rural and remote locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate plant and equipment including excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and other relevant machinery.
- Complete daily plant checks and report any defects, damage or maintenance requirements.
- Load, unload and safely handle plant, equipment and materials.
- Work in line with site RAMS, safety requirements and environmental controls.
- Work closely with Construction Managers, Site Managers, supervisors and ground teams to complete works safely and to programme.
- Complete plant records, timesheets and routine maintenance checks.
- Support general site activities when plant operations are not required.
What we’re Looking For:
- Relevant CPCS or NPORS plant qualifications.
- Previous experience operating plant on civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure projects.
- A good understanding of construction site safety and environmental requirements.
- Experience working in rural, remote or environmentally sensitive locations.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel, work away from home, work overtime and work weekends when required.
- Experience working on power infrastructure, cable installation, substations, hydro schemes, roads or utilities projects would be beneficial.

About You About The Company BRUSH Power Solutions is able to deliver at every stage of a project’s lifecycle. From initial design and consultancy through to construction, testing, commissioning and connection, the team are on hand to provide comprehensive end-to-end HV infrastructure solutions for projects from 11kV to 400kV.
