Plant Operator

A real career, not just a job

📍 Elsham Wolds Industrial Estate, near Brigg, DN20 0SP
💷 Starting £27,000 per year
🕐 Monday–Friday, Day Shifts

Blended Products is a specialist in compressed industrial gases and chemical blending, and we are expanding our operations team. We offer full, structured training across every part of this role — no industry experience needed. But more than a skilled operator, we're looking for someone who sees this as the start of something, not just their next position.

If you're the kind of person who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning new skills, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely looks after its people — we think you'll feel at home here.

The Kind of Person We're Looking For

Experience in our industry isn't essential. What matters more is who you are:

  • Common sense and initiative — you read a situation and do the right thing without needing to be told
  • Energy and enthusiasm — you bring it to what you do, even when the work is demanding
  • Tenacity — when something is challenging, you work through it rather than around it
  • A genuine curiosity and desire to learn — the training here is thorough and hands-on, and the people who get the most from it are the ones who embrace it
  • A team player who can also work independently — you'll rely on others and others will rely on you, and both matter
  • A serious attitude towards Health & Safety — we operate in a specialist environment where following correct procedures isn't optional, it's everything. We need someone who understands that and takes personal responsibility for it, every single day
  • Pride in doing things properly — accuracy and attention to detail matter here, and we need someone who shares those values

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
