Overview
To be clear, this is a hands-on role, where you will be a lone worker, running the recycling plant on the late shift. We are not looking to relocate or sponsor anyone and all applicants must legally be able to start work immediately (or after a notice period with current employer) in the UK. This job will suit someone who likes a very physical job and who is proud of their work at the end of the day. This job will not suit someone used to a desk job.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Supervisor to run daily operations within our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and physically running the plant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for physically fit individuals with a strong work ethic and a solid understanding of mechanical processes to contribute to the ongoing success of our organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
