Plant & Weighbridge Operative
Hours – Full-time (as per site rota)
Location – Red Lodge, IP28 8LD
As a Plant & Weighbridge Operative at FCC Environment, you will support the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the site. You will be responsible for operating plant machinery and managing weighbridge activities in line with company procedures and legal requirements.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working on a rota basis.

What will you be doing?
- Supporting the Site Manager with the safe and efficient operation of the site
- Operating plant and equipment safely and in line with company procedures
- Managing weighbridge operations and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting customers, contractors and site visitors in a professional manner
- Following all health, safety and environmental procedures
- Reporting incidents, faults or unsafe conditions to management
- Supporting general site duties as required
What are we looking for?
- A reliable and hardworking individual with a strong focus on safety
- Ability to operate plant machinery (or willingness to be trained)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A flexible approach to working hours and duties
- The ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
- Good timekeeping and a positive attitude
