Plasma / CNC Operator needed for a fabrication factory based in Nottingham.
Hours: 07:00am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Interview process to be held before starting. You must have the right to work in the UK, having your own transport is ideal due to the remote location.
Responsibilities
- Operate plasma cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

- Experience using hand tools and assembling components
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of tooling and machining processes
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine issues
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials
