Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Plasterer role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. The Plasterer will prepare and treat surfaces, apply plaster and stucco to walls and ceilings, and ensure finishes meet required quality standards and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include mixing materials, setting up and maintaining tools and equipment, repairing damaged surfaces, and finishing work to a smooth and consistent standard. The role involves working closely with site supervisors and other trades, following health and safety guidelines, and completing work within agreed timelines. The Plasterer may work on a variety of projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and commercial properties.

  • Possession of a valid CSCS Card and familiarity with CSCS requirements and site safety standards.
  • Strong practical skills in Plastering, including application on different surfaces and finishing techniques.
  • Experience working with Stucco and Ceilings, including decorative and repair work.
  • Ability to read and follow basic plans or instructions, and coordinate with site managers and other trades.
  • Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work safely with tools and materials.
  • Previous experience as a Plasterer in residential or commercial construction environments is highly beneficial.
  • Reliable transport to reach various sites across the Manchester Area and a flexible approach to working hours.
