Consultant Plastic Surgeon – Minor Operations (MOPS)
Availability: Weekend Sessions, Weekend Insourcing Opportunities
Rates: Competitive
We are currently seeking experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeons to join teams across the UK for weekend insourcing lists, supporting NHS waiting list initiatives across:
Minor Operations (MOPS)
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues in a well-supported, patient-focused environment while offering additional flexible weekend sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients on hospital waiting lists.
- Perform a range of minor surgical procedures in accordance with Trust protocols and best practice guidelines.
- Review referrals, clinical histories, and diagnostic findings to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation, including operative notes and follow-up recommendations for Trust pathways.

Requirements
- GMC registration with Specialist Register accreditation in Plastic Surgery.
- Active Licence to Practise.
- Proven experience working as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon within the NHS.
- Extensive experience performing minor surgical procedures independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions.
