Platform Architect – NVIDIA AI Factory / GB300
6-Month Contract | Hybrid | Excellent Day Rate
We’re looking for a highly experienced Platform Architect to join a major AI infrastructure programme, designing and shaping next-generation NVIDIA AI Factory platforms.
This is a highly specialist architecture role, with hands-on experience of NVIDIA HGX GB300 / NVL72 and NVIDIA RTX 6000-class GPU infrastructure absolutely essential.
Key Technical Requirements
- NVIDIA HGX GB300 / NVL72 – hands-on architecture experience
- NVIDIA AI Factory reference architecture for GB300
- Grace Blackwell Superchip topology, NVLink & NVSwitch
- Rack-scale GPU architecture and workload placement
- Slurm & Run – workload scheduling and orchestration
- Kubernetes architecture, containers and GPU workloads
- NVIDIA RTX 6000-class GPU servers for inference, VDI, visualisation and mixed workloads
- InfiniBand NDR/XDR, Spectrum-X, RoCE, GPUDirect RDMA/Storage
- NVIDIA GPU Operator, Network Operator, CUDA, NGC & DCGM
- GPU partitioning/sharing – MIG, vGPU & time-slicing
- High-performance storage and networking
- Linux, Terraform, Ansible, Python/Shell and CI/CD

Data Centre & Infrastructure
You’ll also need strong knowledge of the physical infrastructure required to operate high-density AI platforms, including:
- Liquid-cooled 100kW+ rack environments
- CDU and secondary cooling loops
- Direct-to-chip and rear-door cooling
- Power, UPS, redundancy and thermal capacity
- Rack design, cabling, optics and commissioning
- Data centre capacity planning, PUE and sustainability
- Working with facilities and colocation providers

What You’ll Do
You’ll translate complex business and technical requirements into HLDs, LLDs and implementation architectures, working across compute, GPU, Kubernetes, networking, storage, security and facilities teams.
You’ll be responsible for making the critical architectural decisions around performance, scalability, resilience, workload placement, utilisation, cost and operational support.
