Location: London – Hybrid (2 days onsite initially, reducing to 1 day)

Rate: Up to £450 per day – Outside IR35

Contract

We’re looking for an experienced Platform Architect to join a major UK organisation and take technical ownership of critical, enterprise-scale digital platforms.

You’ll provide architectural leadership across a complex technology estate spanning consumer applications, digital identity, and subscription/digital media platforms, defining architecture patterns, capability roadmaps, and technical standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and define the technical architecture for critical platforms
  • Establish architecture patterns, principles, and anti-patterns
  • Govern solutions through Design Authority
  • Review and assure technical designs, builds, and sizing estimates
  • Work across applications, identity, APIs, microservices, and integration technologies
  • Ensure platforms meet requirements around resilience, scalability, performance, and lifecycle management
  • Resolve complex technical escalations and architectural blockers
  • Partner with senior technical, business, and vendor stakeholders
  • Help shape platform capability roadmaps and future investment
  • Explore opportunities to use AI, LLMs, and automation to improve architecture processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
