About The Role

Platform Engineers are at the heart of our mission.

They design, build, operate and continually improve the platforms that underpin critical services. Working across infrastructure, automation, operations and security, they ensure our environments remain resilient, scalable and secure.

This role provides the opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges within large-scale environments where reliability, security and performance are essential.

Whether supporting existing platforms or helping shape future capability, you'll play a key role in delivering technology that matters.

Note: This role requires eligibility for UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. As a result, applicants must typically be sole British citizens and have lived in the UK continuously for the previous 10 years, subject to UK Government vetting requirements.

  • Design, build, support and continuously improve infrastructure platforms that enable critical services.
  • Contribute to the automation of operational processes, reducing manual effort and increasing platform reliability.
  • Support the delivery of platform modernisation and transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architecture, security and software engineering teams to implement effective technical solutions.
  • Monitor platform health, identify opportunities for optimisation and drive continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to long-term resolution strategies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards and reusable engineering practices.
  • Share knowledge and contribute positively to the engineering community through collaboration and mentoring.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
